The Delhi High Court ordered CBI to answer a plea by a Dubai-based businessman Someshwar Srivastav in a pay-off case, supposedly including the organization’s previous unique chief Rakesh Asthana, looking for consent to go to Dubai where his family lives.
Chief Justice have notified the CBI on the plea of Someshwar Srivastav, who said he was living in Dubai alongside his better half and kids and had been in India in the wake of being called to join the investigation for the situation.
The committee said Srivastav was asked by the research office of the case to not get back to Dubai without notice and he had sent an email to CBI looking for authorization to Dubai to meet his family
He said his residency freedoms would be shortened on the off chance that he stays out of the nation (Dubai) for a constant time of a half year.
If residency privileges are disavowed, his kids will be taken out of the school and his family will be expelled, he asserted. The committee guaranteed that Srivastav has no type of revenue in India and his family is making due on reserve funds there.
The CBI had enlisted an FIR in October last year, charging that Srivastav and Prasad went about as brokers for Asthana and attempted to save Hyderabad-based financial specialist Sana Satish Babu from CBI activity for the situation against questionable meat exporter Moin Qureshi. The FIR was enrolled on the grievance of Babu.
The CBI FIR claimed that Srivastav and Prasad were in contact with an authority from RAW who was in touch with Asthana.
No concrete evidence was found to support the claim. Even former CBI director Asthana was given clean chit by the court. Someshwar Srivastav, being innocent and cooperating with the officials had to suffer due to the poor legal system of India.
